Adm. Scott Swift, commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet, is welcomed aboard the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA(N)) Jiangkai II class frigate Daqing (FFG 576) by Vice Adm, Aug 9, 2016.  Yuan Yubai, commander of the PLA(N) North Sea Fleet. Swift is visiting Qingdao in conjunction with USS Benfold's (DDG 65) ongoing port call, which aims to advance maritime cooperation between the two navies while enhancing relationships between sailors.

Dennis Spence, an anesthesiologist assigned to USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), conducts a tour of an operating room for heads of delegation from the Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange (APMHE) during a tour aboard Mercy. Mercy is in Malaysia for Pacific Partnership 2016, the first time the mission has visited Malaysia. Partner nations are working side-by-side with local organizations in a search and rescue exercise, civil engineering projects, community relation events and subject matter expert exchanges.

USS Frank Cable Concludes Successful Port Visit to Goa, India
August 5, 2016
Capt. Drew St. John, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), presents Rear Adm. Puneet Kumar Bahl, Flag Officer Naval Aviation, Flag Officer Goa Area, with a decorated Navy ball cap for his appreciation for a continuation of positive relations between the U.S. and Indian Navy, July 29. The visit to Goa is aimed at building friendship and goodwill between the U.S. Navy and the People of India. Frank Cable is one of two forward-deployed U.S. naval force submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
