SYDNEY, Australia (Sept. 30, 2009) -- Sydney's Channel 9 shoots Musician 3rd Class Spencer Haasenritter and the U.S. 7th Fleet Band's Far East Edition on the main deck of USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). The band is embarked aboard Blue Ridge, which arrived in Sydney Sept. 29 for a scheduled port visit. During their stay, the band is scheduled to perform eight times. U.S. Navy photo by Lt. PACIFIC OCEAN - (Sept. 28, 2009) - Members of the 7th Fleet Band study for their Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification aboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19). The band arrived aboard the 7th Fleet Flagship in Noumea, New Caledoina and will remain until the duration of the fall cruise providing musical support during military functions and engagements. JAKARTA, Indonesia (Aug. 26, 2009) Musician 3rd Class Drew Williams high-fives audience members at Artha Gading Mall during a joint performance by the brass section of the Indonesian TNI Navy Band and the U.S. 7th Fleet Rock Band, Orient Express. The bands played to a crowd of hundreds during a Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Indonesia 2009 community service project.
