Born and raised in Grants, New Mexico Senior Chief Rundall joined the Navy in August 1992.

Upon completion of Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended the Navy School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia where he completed the Basic Course of Instruction. In May 1993, he reported to his first assignment with Navy Band San Francisco as a saxophone and clarinet instrumentalist and leader of the saxophone quartet.

July 1995, he reported to Navy Band Jacksonville, where he served as a saxophone and clarinet instrumentalist. His next assignment in 1998 was with the SEVENTH Fleet Band in Yokosuka, Japan, forward deployed onboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), where he served as the Leading Petty Officer, saxophonist, clarinetist, and vocalist with both the contemporary ensemble “Orient Express”, and the showband “Far East Edition.”

May 2003, he transferred to SIXTH Fleet Band where was promoted to Chief Petty Officer in September 2004. Following this assignment, he returned to Norfolk, Virginia in 2006 to attend the Senior Musician Course. Upon completion, he reported to Navy Band Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida, where he served as leader of the “Ceremonial Band” and “Southeast Jazz Ensemble.”

August 2010, Senior Chief Rundall attended the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, Rhode Island (Class 154 Gray). In October 2010, he assumed his current assignment as Assistant Director, SEVENTH Fleet Band.

His personal awards include: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (5 awards), National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (6 awards), Overseas Deployment Ribbon (6 awards), Pistol Sharpshooter Ribbon. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Wayland Baptist University.
