YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 29, 2007) - Alex Trebek, of the popular American trivia game show "Jeopardy!" greets and exchanges ball caps with USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) Commanding Officer Capt. Ed P. McNamee. Trebek is in Japan promoting and assisting in the search for military personnel to be on his show. The ship is in a selected restricted availability, which is an intensive maintenance period designed to help keep the ship combat ready. Kitty Hawk operates from Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 29, 2007) -- Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, Vice Adm. Doug Crowder introduces Vice Adm. Yoji Koda to USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) Commanding Officer, Capt. David A. Lausman. Koda, who took command of Japan's Self-Defense Fleet yesterday, visited Crowder to discuss continued strengthening of the U.S. Navy and JMSDF relationship.
