SURABAYA, INDONESIA (July 21, 2008) - Indonesian Navy sailors listen as Electronics Technician 1st Class Joshua Hoeksema of Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific, explains the Combined Enterprise Network Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS). Sailors from the two navies are training as a part of a week-long bilateral Naval Engagement Activity (NEA) between the United States and Indonesia. The NEA is part of an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and several Southeast Asian nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
