NAVAL AIR FACILITY MISAWA, Japan (March 31, 2011) – A Naval Air Facility Misawa security patrol vehicle navigates around road cones while navigating through on the Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC). Members of the Reserve, base auxiliary security force, and Naval Security Force took turns qualifying on the EVOC to support the department during Operation Tomodachi. EVOC is a training course that consists of fast maneuvers, sharp turns, quick decision making, and parallel parking designed to simulate possible response scenarios.
