Task Force 72 Repositions P-3 Orions for Typhoon Guchol

YOKOSUKA, Japan – Commander, Task Force 72 repositioned seven P-3 Orion aircraft from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa: two P-3s to Misawa Air Base in northern Honshu; two P-3s to Clark Air Base in the Philippines and three P-3s to Anderson Air Base in Guam as a precautionary measure in response to possible impacts to current routine maritime patrol operations as a result of Typhoon Guchol.
