JMSDF and U.S. 7th Fleet commanders visit JSDF Okinawa and Yonaguni bases.

OKINAWA, Japan  –   Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Vice Adm. Katsushi Omachi, commander, Self Defense Fleet, hosted Vice Adm. Pat Hannifin, commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, during a bilateral tour of Japan Self-Defense Force joint bases in Okinawa and Yonaguni. The leaders visited the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Southwest Air Defense Force commander and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force 15th Brigade during their visit which served to enhance the joint operational interoperability of the U.S. and Japan.
