U.S. 7th Fleet Band

WELCOME

Established in 1943 alongside the U.S. SEVENTH Fleet, the United States SEVENTH Fleet Band is based in Yokosuka, Japan, and is embarked aboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), the flagship of Commander, U.S. SEVENTH Fleet (COMSEVENTHFLT).


The U.S. SEVENTH Fleet Band provides musical support for Commander, U.S. SEVENTH Fleet’s Theater Security Cooperation mission throughout the Indo-Pacific region. The band performs aboard ships, at military installations, and in partner nations across the SEVENTH Fleet area of operations. These performances promote awareness of the U.S. Navy, inspire patriotism, and foster goodwill and cooperation with U.S. partners and allies throughout the region.

U.S 7th Fleet Band held six perfomances throughout Manila performing at schools, malls, a radio station and even the U.S Embassy in the Philippines during a port visit. The Seventh Fleet Band arrived in Manila aboard the USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, Blue Ridge actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Region.
