SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 01, 2017) Littoral combat ship USS Coronado (LCS 4) is underway conducting exercises in the South China Sea.  Currently on a rotational deployment in support of the Asia-Pacific Rebalance, Coronado is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region's littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.

INDIAN OCEAN (June 26, 2017) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) conducts Division Tactics (DIVTACS) exercises with the Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Ballart (FFH 155) and the Armidale class patrol boat HMAS Bathurst (ACPB 85). McCain is participating in Talisman Saber 2017 Field Training Exercise-North providing the U.S. and Australia realistic combined, joint, and interagency training to promote regional security, peace and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
