Blue Ridge, 7th Fleet Medical Teams Conduct a Demonstration for Republic of Korea Navy

Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class William Powell, from Little Rock, Arkansas, and Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Darius Moody, from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, demonstrate how to assess a simulated casualty as part of a medical demonstration held for Republic of Korea Navy medical personnel aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge with embarked U.S. 7th Fleet Sailors arrived in Busan, Republic of Korea (ROK) for a regularly scheduled port visit Feb. 5. During their visit they will engage in local culture, host military-to-military engagements and build relationships through music and public service activities.

GULF OF TADJOURA (Nov. 5, 2019) A 34-foot Dauntless-class patrol boat assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1 transfers supplies to the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Texas (SSN 775) in the Gulf of Tadjoura. CRS-1 is forward-deployed with Combined Task Group 68.6 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (Jan. 26, 2020) An MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft system (UAS) lands at Andersen Air Force Base for a deployment as part of an early operational capability (EOC) to further develop the concept of operations and fleet learning associated with operating a high-altitude, long-endurance system in the maritime domain. Unmanned Patrol Squadron (VUP) 19, the first Triton UAS squadron, will operate and maintain two aircraft in Guam under Commander, Task Force (CTF) 72, the U.S. Navy's lead for patrol, reconnaissance and surveillance forces in U.S. 7th Fleet.
