U.S. Coast Guard Leads PP19 SAR Training

MAJURO, Republic of the Marshall Islands (March 20, 2019) U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Cooper speaks at a search and rescue planning meeting led by Coast Guardsmen from the U.S. Coast Guard 14th District during Pacific Partnership 2019. Pacific Partnership, now in its 14th iteration, is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Each year, the mission team works collectively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase stability and security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.

U.S. Navy warships train together to increase the tactical proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units in an Era of Great Power Competition.
