Stennis (CVN 74). John C. Stennis is underway and conducting operations in international waters as part of a dual carrier strike force exercise. Green Bay Arrives in Port Moresby

PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (Nov. 13, 2018) -- San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) anchors in Port Moresby Harbour, Papua New Guinea. Green Bay is in Port Moresby to assist with security efforts ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference and is the second U.S. ship to visit Port Moresby in the last two months.  Green Bay is part of Amphibious Squadron 11 and is operating in the region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.

Jimmy Pitts, Commander, Submarine Group 7, salutes during the national anthem prior to giving the keynote address at the Fleet Activities Yokosuka "Bells of Peace" memorial event commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I. The ceremony, attended by several current and former Sailors on base as well as Japan Maritime Self Defense Force, Royal Canadian Navy and Royal Australian Navy Sailors, was one of more than 60 held worldwide.

SOUTH CHINA SEA (Aug. 31, 2018) The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) and the guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69), center, conduct a photo exercise with Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
