USS Chief visits Jakarta

JAKARTA, Indonesia (Feb. 26, 2019) Lt. Cmdr. Fred Crayton, commanding officer of the Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship USS Chief (MCM 14), briefs Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) sailors about minesweeping equipment during a tour of the ship. Chief is visiting Jakarta while operating in U.S. 7th Fleet to work with their Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) counterparts to strengthen regional security and stability, and enhance interoperability.

USS Santa Fe Arrives in Stirling, Australia

USS Santa Fe (SSN 763) joins Royal Australian Navy Collins Class Submarines HMAS Collins, HMAS Farncomb, HMAS Dechaineux and HMAS Sheean in formation in the West Australian Exercise Area. Royal Australian Navy Collins Class Submarines HMAS Collins, HMAS Farncomb, HMAS Dechaineux and HMAS Sheean were joined in formation by United States Navy Submarine USS Santa Fe in the West Australian Exercise Area for a PHOTOEX in February 2019. The submarines were in the area to participate in a number of activities, including Exercise Lungfish 2019 and Exercise Ocean Explorer 2019.
